What do ‘Outside access’ and ‘Inside access’ mean?

Outside access refers to rooms which have direct access to the exterior of the property (the garden, for example), while inside access refers to rooms which have direct access to the interior of the principal building.

Or course many rooms have access both  to the main house and the garden, in which case they will be described as having both inside and outside access.
